Allan Gascoigne

Allan Gascoigne grew up in Blenheim and studied law while indentured as a clerk to A.C. Nathan. His first partnership in 1934 was with Dowling Ward, then in 1937 with Tim Smith, and in 1945 he joined forces with Arthur Wicks. Gascoigne was highly regarded as a family lawyer and although he retired in 1969 he was still ‘at the office’ until 1977.
