As befitting a firm in the region producing the lion's share of New Zealand's grape harvest, our commercial and property team have specialised knowledge of the viticulture industry.Led by partners Paul Gibson and Scott Wight, the team offers the full range of commercial legal services. We have the specialist knowledge to assist with your corporate transactions, matters arising from your interests in the rural sector, or your land development projects. We are also one of the largest providers of conveyancing services in the region.

Litigation Team

Our specialised litigation team led by partner Quentin Davies, is highly skilled and well respected for its work in all aspects of resource management, plan changes and consents, with special expertise in the area of aquaculture.

The team also has much experience with issues relating to relationship property, employment and dispute resolution. We also arrange debt collection, and can advise on the legal avenues open to you to avoid this occurring. In the last few years, leaky home issues has also formed part of our dispute resolution work.

We appreciate that few people want to be involved in disputes and we will work with you to find fast and cost-effective solutions. However, if you do need representation in a tribunal or Court, you can be comfortable that our lawyers are experienced, having appeared in proceedings many times.
