Paul became a Partner at Gascoigne Wicks in 1997. He is a commercial lawyer and works in the areas of contract, business and property. Paul completed a Master of Laws degree through Queen Mary College, University of London, specialising in commercial and corporate law. Paul also has a commerce degree majoring in Economics (Victoria University, Wellington).
Paul has a specialised knowledge of Marlborough's wine industry. He deals with vineyard acquisition and development, and related storage and supply infrastructure. Paul deals with vineyard leases, grape supply and wine distribution agreements.
Paul is an experienced trust lawyer. He acts for the Marlborough Electric Power Trust, and was involved in the establishment of a number of Marlborough development and community trusts. Paul deals with all aspects of business succession, and estate planning.
Out of hours, Paul is a keen gardener, and is a wine enthusiast. He holds the Level 3 WSET Certificate (Wine & Spirit Education Trust).
