Paul became a Partner at Gascoigne Wicks in 1997. He works in the area of business, contract and commercial law and has specialised knowledge of Marlborough’s viticultural industry as well as expertise in private and community trusts. Paul currently acts for the Marlborough Electric Power Trust, and was involved in the establishment of the Marlborough Health Trust, Marlborough Economic Development Trust, Marlborough Stadium Trust, Destination Marlborough Trust and the Wairau Accident & Emergency Trust. Paul completed his Masters Degree at the Queen Mary, University of London, specialising in commercial and corporate law.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Paul established a successful business making solid timber furniture. In 1979 he received the Bestwood Award and a year later won the New Zealand Craftsman Training Foundation Award.
